As I found out from Peak Centre, these supplements have all been popular with both the National Teams and their clientele. The following details were provided to me when I inquired more about ordering.
Astaxanthin: is one of the most powerful antioxidants. It provides free radical scavenging 65 times more than Vitamin C. It’s also a very popular supplement with our endurance groups as it helps improve endurance, strength and recovery between workouts. It’s also an “internal sunscreen” so those that spend much of their time training outdoors; it could be a very good addition. Even though it’s not “sun season” yet; the supplement should be taken at least 3 months before the sun comes out again for optimal results.
Black Fermented Garlic: because of the fermentation process; it increases the benefits of regular garlic by a significant amount. The key part of the product is the S-allyl-cysteine. It helps immune function etc…etc…huge amount of benefits from Garlic
Krill Oil: this is one of those “good fats” or “good oils” or “good omegas”. The difference is it comes from Krill instead of regular fish. Krill are found deeper into the Ocean and do not have the exposure to mercury, lead or any of the other “bad things” dumped into the ocean
Protein: the protein being ordered is a whey concentrate that comes from organic milk, grass fed, free range cows. Furthermore; it’s from raw milk which does not go through the pasteurization process. As I’m sure you know; in Canada all milk produce is pasteurized which kills off many of the “good things” in the protein.
